The proposed development is located on land currently occupied by Wilmslow Police Station and will be accessed via the existing entrance off Beech Lane.
Cheshire Constabulary are seeking to construct a replacement police facility at the site which will make a portion of the land available for additional development.
McCarthy Stone has acquired an interest in the site and believes it is in a suitable and sustainable location to provide much-needed retirement accommodation for people later in life in Wilmslow. We are pleased that the Wilmslow Neighbourhood Plan states that a high density development including homes for older people would be welcomed here.
Our development seeks to capitalise on the easy access to local amenities, including shops, cafes and restaurants, that this location enjoys. Wilmslow also benefits from public transport links with local bus routes and rail services allowing easy access to the wider region. The site will link with local pedestrian routes too, providing connections to town centre facilities and nearby amenities.
