The Site

The site is located at Gravesend Rugby Club, Church Walk, Gravesend on land formerly occupied by GRFC Bowls Club. The site consists of a bowling green, club house, and associated outbuildings which have been vacated for some time, believed to be around the end of 2020. Gravesend Rugby Club saw a significant reduction in Bowls Club membership in recent years, leading to the club not being financially viable and costing more than it was able to generate in income.

The site lies off Milton Road which is the main high street that connects to the Town Centre and its amenities. The site is also served by a regular bus service, at the corner of the junction with Milton Road, that offers regular services to Bluewater, Dartford and Gravesend.
